Mount Kazbeg is a highlight of many people’s visit to Georgia. There’s something magical about high mountains with such prominence - a full 1000 metres+ higher than anything in the Alps Kazbeg is majestic and memorable. There are many photographs of this mountain back over the past 150 years of photography yet probably not all that many where the mountain is lit by a full moon.
