There is no job in photography that is more high-pressure than weddings; the expectations for “the big day” run high and immediately aunts and uncles want to see those perfect moments. There’s only one chance to nail the shot - no repeats possible. For years to come it’s the wedding album that will be revisited again and again - so it’s got to be right. Wedding photos can only be successful when a photographer takes tame to get to know the couple - there needs to be a bond in place and a way of communicating on the right level to get the shots done and still keep the day as fun as possible for the main people: her and him. It doesn’t matter whether there are 150 guests or 4 - the requirements are the same: capturing perfect moments - the memories of which will last a lifetime - that’s not too much to ask is it?
