About Me

I was born in London, April 1978. I grew up in Stevenage, Hertfordshire where I developed an interest in the built environment, foreign languages and travel. I studied at Aston University, Birmingham and then moved to the Eastern Germany | Poland border region, following this I lived in Berlin and London followed by Tirol in the Austrian Alps. Finally, I moved to Tbilisi, Georgia which has been my locale since 2013.

The photos I shoot are about making the most of available light as possible. I’m particularly interested in taking photos that show what the viewer could have seen if they were in that location at the time the photo was taken - I like to keep it real and natural because I believe that’s what will give you a commercial advantage.

I shoot a variety of digital and film cameras, depending on the look I want to create. I post-process all of my work myself. Cameras and lenses I’ve used for work on this site include:
Olympus EM1 MkII | Olympus EM5 MkII | Pentax K1 | Nikon FM3A | Nikon F3 HP | Rolleiflex 3.5E | Rolleiflex 2.8C | Hasselblad 500CM | Sony A7R2 | Olympus Mju 1 | Fuji XRO 1 | Fuji X100 | Zeiss Planar
